Genesis

Saccaya is a musical project started in 2015 by Renato Henriques.

It is born from the result of the spontaneous expression of emotions, sincere, free, without imposing barriers.

​

The name of this project was inspired by one of the teachings of Theravada Buddhism: Sakkaya ditthi, "the belief in the entity, the idea of the existence of a self, considering the form as being the self; considering the self as possessed in material form;  considering the material form as being in the self; considering the self as being in material form. The same with sensations, perceptions, mental formations and consciousness".
